This Beneteau First 20 is a great looking boat with her dark blue hull. She has just had a cut and polish to bring her up to her best and is looking for a new home.
Ordered with the specific intention of lake sailing on Rutland Water and reducing weight, she does not come with amenities but there is space for a porta potti and a gas stove. Accommodation is quite surprising for a 20 foot boat with two long single berths and a small double in the forepeak. She is furnished with cushions throughout and has plenty of storage.
As a trailer sailor, the rigging is removed and inspected each time the mast is stepped. The owner has provided a detailed list of equipment to aid doing this along with instructions on how best to go about it along with an inventory of all items required to transport.
Sails are in good condition. Whilst being the originals, they have been lightly used and will give many more years of service
On her own bespoke double axle trailer, she is the ideal boat to explore inland waters yet she is capable of coastal sailing wherever the mood takes you. The ease of transport is further enhanced by the swing keel (raised by a single winch) along with the removable twin rudders. Once in the water, she grips well due to a draft (fully lowered) of 1.8m
