2010 Beneteau Oceanis 31

Ipswich, Suffolk, United Kingdom

£65,000

Snufkin epitomises the family sailing yacht for the UK East Coast.  She is fitted with a number of options and is presented in good order with one family owning her from new in 2010.  She has the benefit of shoal keel and a sugar scoop enabling her to offer the best of both worlds for river and coastal sailing whilst still offering the option for trips to Holland, Belgium and France.

Inside she is clean and well kept with good quality surfaces and upholstery in light colours to give greatest feeling of light and space below.

Standing headroom in the saloon for my 6'1" height was welcome, as was the easy galley and huge berth in the separate aft cabin.  With another separate cabin forward offering a 'V' berth with infill and straight berths to the saloon.  Six crew can be accommodated if required.

Furling headsail and slab reefing to the main work well and her simple rig and newer standing rigging set the sails well. A 'coppercoated' hull offers reduced maintenance.

She is available to view on our hardstanding at Fox's Marina.

Sails

The jib and main in white Dacron offer a balanced rig, both being 24.6 sqm.  Slab reefing with two reefs are single line and easy to control from the cockpit.  The lazybag has plenty of life left and with a potential for over 8 knots under white sails she is a sprightly performer.
